# How to cancel a service

If you no longer require a service, you can submit a cancellation request through the client area. Cancellation requests are handled separately for each service, so make sure you select the correct product before submitting the request.

## Submit a Cancellation Request

1. Log in to your **client area**.
2. Navigate to **Services** or **My Services**.
3. Find the service you want to cancel and open it.
4. Look for the **Request Cancellation**.
5. Select the cancellation option.
6. Choose when you want the service to be cancelled, if prompted.
7. Enter a reason for the cancellation when required.
8. Review the cancellation details and submit the request.

After submitting the request, you should see a confirmation that the cancellation request was received.

## Cancel Immediately or at the End of the Billing Period

**End of Billing Period** means the service remains active until the current billing period ends. The service is then cancelled when that period expires.

**Immediate** means the service is requested for cancellation as soon as possible. This option may result in the service and its data being removed before the current billing period ends.

**Important:** Check the cancellation option carefully before submitting your request. An immediate cancellation may permanently remove your server and its data.
