# Using .sh to start your server

Does your Minecraft server require run.sh to start? No worries, we got you!

1. Let's start by entering into the [Game Panel](https://gamepanel.fourseasonshosting.com/)
2. Then go to our game server, and then to the file manager
3. Find the <mark style="color:green;">run.sh</mark> or <mark style="color:green;">start.sh</mark> file and then right-click on it and change the permissions to 744

If yours says <mark style="color:red;">start.sh</mark> please rename to <mark style="color:green;">run.sh</mark>

4. Once done, then let's head over to the <mark style="color:green;">Startup</mark> tab and click on the drop-down and click on <mark style="color:green;">Minecraft run.sh</mark>
