# How to Change Soulmask Server Settings

#### Changing the Settings of Your Soulmask Server

To modify your *Soulmask* server settings, follow these steps to verify yourself as an admin and make adjustments in-game:

1. **Set an Admin Password**
   * Open the **Startup** tab on the game control panel.
   * Locate the highlighted field and set your **Admin Password**.
2. **Verify as Admin In-Game**
   * Launch the game and open the console by pressing the `~` key.
   * Type the command:

     ```
     gm key <yourPassword>  
     ```
   * On the next screen, re-enter your admin password and select **Become the Admin**.
3. **Adjust the Server Settings**\
   Once verified as an admin, you’ll have access to modify the server settings to your liking directly in-game!
