# How to List Your Vintage Story Server on the Public Server List

Vintage Story servers can be advertised publicly so other players can find them through the game's server browser.

## Enable Public Listing

1. Sign in to the game panel at `gamepanel.fourseasonshosting.com` and select your Vintage Story server.
2. Stop the server if it is currently running.
3. Open the **Startup** section.
4. Locate the **Advertise To Public List** (`ADVERTISE_SERVER`) setting.
5. Change the value to `true`.
6. Start the server.

After the server starts, it should become visible in the public Vintage Story server browser.

## Customize Your Listing

The information displayed in the public browser is controlled by the following Startup variables:

* **Server Name** (`SERVER_NAME`) sets the name players see.
* **Server Description** (`SERVER_DESCRIPTION`) controls the description shown for your server.

Choose a clear and recognizable name and description before enabling public advertising.

### Removing Your Server From the Public List

If you no longer want your server publicly listed, return to the **Startup** page, change `ADVERTISE_SERVER` to `false`, and restart the server.
