# How to Update Your Soulmask Server

Whenever Qooland Games, the creators of *Soulmask*, release patches, bug fixes, or new features for the game, it is essential to update the servers accordingly. Failure to do so may result in the following error:

**"The match you are trying to join is running an incompatible version of the game. Please try upgrading your game version."**

Keeping both the game and server up to date ensures a seamless and compatible gaming experience.

## Updating Your Soulmask Server

1. **Login to the Game Panel**\
   Access your server's game panel to begin the update process.
2. **Enable Auto Update**\
   Navigate to the **Startup** tab and ensure that the **Auto Update** option is enabled.
3. **Restart the Server**\
   Press the **Restart** button in the game panel.

The server will automatically pull, verify, and apply the latest *Soulmask* update, ensuring your server stays up-to-date effortlessly.
