BeamMP server tags help players understand what type of experience your server offers and make it easier to find through server-list filters. Examples of tags you might use include Freeroam, Racing, or Custom. Tags are configured directly inside your server’s ServerConfig.toml file.

Add or Change Server Tags

  1. Sign in to the game panel.
  2. Open your BeamMP server.
  3. Stop the server before editing its configuration.
  4. Go to Files.
  5. Open ServerConfig.toml from the server’s main directory.
  6. Locate the Tags setting.
  7. Enter the tags you want to display. For example:
  8. Save the file.
  9. Start the server.
You can replace the example tags with any appropriate tags supported by BeamMP.

Important Information

The game panel does not overwrite the Tags setting when the server starts, so changes made directly to ServerConfig.toml will remain in place after restarts. Tags are primarily useful for servers listed publicly. Make sure Private (PRIVATE) is set to false on the Startup page if you want your server to appear in the public BeamMP server browser. Private servers are hidden from the public list, so their tags will not provide much benefit.
