How to Add a Datapack to a Minecraft Server - FSH Knowledgebase

Datapacks let you customize Minecraft without installing traditional mods. Depending on the datapack, you can add new gameplay mechanics, commands, recipes, world-generation changes, and other features. Before installing one, verify that the datapack supports the Minecraft version running on your server.

Install the Datapack

Sign in to the game panel at gamepanel.fourseasonshosting.com.
Open the server you want to modify.
Stop the server from the Console page.
Go to Files and locate your active world folder. The folder name should match the level-name setting in server.properties. In most cases, this will be world.
Open the datapacks folder inside the world directory.
Upload the datapack into this folder. You can drag the file directly into the file browser.
Start the server again.

ZIP or Extracted Format?

Datapacks are distributed in different formats. Some are designed to remain as a .zip file, while others require you to extract the archive before Minecraft can recognize them. Check the instructions provided by the datapack author before uploading it. Using the wrong format can prevent the datapack from loading correctly.

Check if the Datapack Loaded

You can confirm that Minecraft detected the datapack from the server console. Run:

datapack list

The command will display the datapacks currently recognized by your server.
