# Debugging basic errors on your Valheim server

#### **Error: Server Name Issue**

* **Fix**:
  1. Go to the **Startup** section of your server control panel.
  2. Change the **Server Name** variable to a new name.
  3. Restart your server.
* **Optional**: If the above does not work, you can try disabling **Crossplay** and restarting the server.

* **Fix**:
  * This issue is typically server-related and requires server migration. To resolve, contact your service provider to request a transfer to a new node.

**Error: Player Disconnected After Trying to Join**

* **Fix**:

  2. Disable **Crossplay**.
  3. Restart the server.

This should resolve the issue and allow players to join the server properly.
