# Developers and your VPS

{% hint style="danger" %}
We **RECOMMENDED** that you never allow access to your [VPS Administrator](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] account unless you 100% trust the admins or developers
{% endhint %}

For allowing access for developers or admins into your VPS would be best by adding them as users on the VPS

On your VPS, please go to \
\
Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > Manage Another Accounts > Add A User Account

{% hint style="info" %}
If you still do want them to have access to the VPS but still need files to the server, please use a program like [GitHub](https://github.com/)
{% endhint %}
