How to Become Admin on Your Palworld Server

Admin access lets you manage your server with in-game commands — kicking players,
broadcasting messages, saving, shutting down, and more. Becoming admin means
setting an admin password and then authenticating with it in-game.

Set the Admin Password#

1.
Log in to the FSH Panel.
2.
Stop the server.
3.
Open the Startup tab and find the Admin Password field. Enter the
password you want admins to use.
Allowed characters: letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores (1–30
characters). Avoid spaces and symbols, or the server won't accept it.
4.
Start the server so the new password takes effect.
This same password is also your RCON / REST API password — keep it private
and only share it with people you trust.

Authenticate In-Game#

1.
Join your Palworld server.
2.
Open the chat and run:
/AdminPassword YourPasswordHere
3.
You'll get a confirmation message indicating whether authentication succeeded.
You must re-enter /AdminPassword each time you rejoin the server — admin
status only lasts for the current session.

Bonus: Run Admin Commands From the Panel (No Game Needed)#

Because FSH Palworld servers have RCON enabled, you can run admin commands
directly from the Console tab in the panel — no need to join the game or
authenticate, since the console is already trusted.
In the panel Console, commands have no slash: ShowPlayers,
Broadcast Hello_everyone, Shutdown 30 Server_restarting.
In-game chat commands do use a slash: /ShowPlayers, /Broadcast ....
Heads up: Broadcast and Shutdown messages get cut off at the first space.
Use underscores instead, e.g. Broadcast Server_restarting_in_5_minutes.

Troubleshooting#

"Failed" / wrong password message in-game: Make sure the server was
restarted after you set/changed the password, and that you typed it exactly
(it's case-sensitive).
Server rejected the password on the Startup tab: It contains a disallowed
character — stick to letters, numbers, -, and _.
Lost admin after rejoining: That's expected — run /AdminPassword again
each session.
